We acquired Andy’s Truck Port in Port Elizabeth, changed its business operations the same way as for the George branch, which became part of the existing business.
Fuel sales more than tripled and the staff compliment grew to 70 employees.
Successfully negotiated a distributor agreement for both fuel and lubricants for the Southern & Western side of the Eastern Cape. We also established a marketing department and field force to handle all distributions.
Developed and implemented an automated sales reporting function and integrated it into the financials between Eastern Cape & Southern Cape.

Experience
Christo was admitted as a chartered accountant in 1990 and attends various CPD (continuous professional development) courses through SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants). Christo was involved in various businesses and inter alia responsible for all financial functions, budgets, management accounts and stock control. He was also responsible for the overall governance & internal control. Christo is currently the managing partner in an accounting firm in the Southern Cape and have also been appointed, since March 2013 as the Chief Financial Officer of OVC.
